Giddy

Does that woman look giddy to you? That's the first image I found online when I looked up "giddy" and I have my doubts about her state of being. I'd say she was "tap dancing" or "killing a bug" or even "poorly dressed," but not "giddy".
You wanna see "giddy"? I'll show you "giddy". <fist shaking!> WAHOO! WAHOO! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! I AM GIDDY GIDDY GIDDY!
The preceding giddiness was brought to you by my obsessive love of the French language, a bunch of French women and... Cylinda.
Really?
Yes, I'm just as surprised as you.

So now that I have recovered from my initial and quite profound surprise (it required picking my jaw up off the floor before the cats ran off with it, you know...) I can somewhat coherently communicate the fact that I agree with you as to the emotional state NOT acurately demonstrated by the woman in picture.
She is definitely not giddy. She looks as though she may have just discovered the wonders of the automatic dishwasher. Or perhaps forgotten her afternoon medications. Either way, that's not what giddy looks like to me.
Of course, your re-enactment of giddiness sounds a little too forceful for the title, in my opinion. Giddy should not be thretening to small children and fuzzy animals. Perhaps exuberant. Or agitated. There's a fine line, you know.

Are you (zen-like to the point of unconsciousness) trying to lecture me (emotional to the point of ridiculousness) on what "giddy" really is?
Nuh-uh. Waggy finger. Not cool.
